Race Information

6th Annual Fast Cat 5k and 10k. The 10k race was the first ever 10k race in the city of Plainfield.   The course will consist of a 5k loop, the the 5k run/walk completing 1 loop and the 10k run 2-loops. The event will be chip timed this year.

8:00 am - Fast Cat Kids Fun Run 1 Mile - Chip Timed - presented by the C.W. Avery Family YMCA
8:30 - The 5k and 10k starts

Cost

If pre-registered by March 23rd:
5k run/walk - $30
10k run- $30
1 mile kids race - $10 T-shirt guaranteed
Runners can transfer or change registration info/change races through March 22nd also. There is a $5.00 fee to transfer.

Registration March 23rd - race day:
5k run/walk - $35
10k run - $35
Shirts not guaranteed if registering March 23rd or after
**Online registration ends at 11:59pm on Thursday, March 30th. After that, you can still register in person at RoadRunner Sports during early packet pick up, or at PNHS the morning of the race.

Awards

Gift cards from Geneva Running Outfitters to the top 2 overall M/F in 5k and 10k
Placing for awards will be based on gun time.
New awards - Custom medals for overall winners and Top 3 in each age group for 5k/10k Male and Female.
5k: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
10k: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

This event is being hosted by the Plainfield North Boys Track and Field team, and the proceeds go to help support the track and field program at PNHS and the Plainfield Emergency Management Agency.
